I believe he's taking a Masters in Educational Psychology with the intent of one day being able to shape educational policies for children. Johann can correct me if I'm wrong. :)
He's worked incredibly hard to get where he's at - he's gone through his share of challenges and more along the way and every bit of 'luck' he's received has been through God's grace, blessing and the 100% effort he's put into achieving his dream. I'm incredibly proud of him, excited for him to start on this amazing adventure and know he will continue to go far!
For the non-Vancouverites, Seattle is about a 2.5 hour drive from where I live and at this point, Johann has said that he aims to come up a few times a month on weekends when he can (as long as school and work doesn't keep him there). I know that this is a great excuse for us to go down to Seattle a lot more (and pass through the outlet malls more often too)!
So as a "reward" (ha ha), Johann got to take Chloe home for a sleepover tonight - I bet they'll have a great time!
