CA had a totally different vibe. It was way more relaxed and was a definitely different experience. It still felt like Disney though.
Radiator Springs/Cars Land was crazy. It was new (built last year I think?) and was exactly like the movies - so realistic. They thought of every single little detail. The ride was pretty cool too. It was like being in the movie, and then there was a little race. I took a video on Instagram which I think you can play... (see right hand side of the screen).
Vic had been feeling quite ill since we went to Six Flags and was so dizzy by mid-morning that we had to go to First Aid - he slept through lunch and after he left there, we had a quick lunch and he went back to the hotel to sleep some more. I felt really bad for him - I know he was looking forward to spending time in CA because we had such great memories the last time. At the very least, he was able to ride all the rides we wanted to go on before he left.
It was me basically crashing Shaun and Vanessa's Disney date, lol, for the rest of the day. They did a few rides on their own while I wandered about but we were able to meet up just in time for the World of Colour show, which was amazing!
Vic felt well enough at the end of the night to pick us up (too bad the roads were closed and he circled for 20 minutes) and we had a late dinner before bed - we had to leave by 11 the next day and we were all beat, so it was actually good that Vic and I didn't get to meet up with my cousins like we had originally planned for dinner. I wasn't too upset; I'm back in LA again in October and will be spending some time with them so it didn't feel like I missed out too much.
Anyway, here are some pictures!
