Happy holy-crap-10-years-of-driving-each-other-crazy, Vic! I can't believe how fast time flies... 1/3 of our lives have now officially been spent together. :)
For our 'anniversary', we decided to try something new so we chose a local Ethiopian place that was really well rated on Urbanspoon called Fassil Restaurant. It was a hole-in-the-wall but we were pleasantly surprised! It was a really unique experience - the manager was incredibly nice. He was both our server and our chef and made a few suggestions for us. Because he knew it was our first time, we ordered the lamb and asked him to surprise us with our second dish. We ended up getting asa tibs (fish - perfectly crispy!) and derek tibs (lamb - spicy and really juicy!) served with injera (a kind of spongy flatbread that is used instead of utensils). We asked about the wine and he recommended the house wine, a homemade honey wine that he explained was drunk with the meal in place of a dessert.
It was really delicious - I may not be able to do it every day, but it was definitely worth going to and I would bring people back there again!

Loved by the Savior. Blessed with a wonderful husband, a beautiful daughter and an adorable pup.
I love photography, singing, reading, trying new food, organizing, all things Disney and always looking forward to my next adventure. You can usually find me with a book in my hand or talking about Pentatonix. An unfortunate Amazon.com addict :)
Oh yeah, occasionally, Vic will post too. :)
