So not only does she have an incredible "Disney" voice, she does a political commentary on the living wage to Mary Poppins (a la Julie Andrews). Go Veronica Mars!
I can't believe that July is almost gone.... we got so busy I forgot to keep blogging. So here's a quick summary of what's been on the go for us!
I held a bridal shower for my friend Kate; she's getting married in September. Her maid of honour/sister, Sarah, lives in Wales with her parents and won't be able to come until closer to the wedding so I offered to host her shower for her. I was able to borrow some of Deb's tea paraphernalia and needless to say, it was a very big hit :) The party was a bit more risque than others I've been to, but was fun all the same!
Vic's roller hockey schedule is wrapping up; it's playoff season now and unfortunately, I haven't been able to watch him play as much as I would have liked :( I feel like he's had a lot more bruising than in past seasons... :(
Vic's work had a summer BBQ and I was able to tour the Amazon warehouse in Delta... pretty neat!
Vic and I are part of the worship team at our church and every year, the church holds a 3 day block party (POTH) in August complete with musical guests, guest speakers, carnival games and a VBS. The past few years, we've had some of the BC Lions come and do a testimony; last year, we had Wally Buono come and speak, which brought out a lot of people. This year, the church asked the worship team if we would perform at POTH, on the busiest night (Friday, August 15) and we agreed to do it! It's going to be a lot of fun and we've bumped up our practices so we've been busy trying to practice for POTH. That day will also be Vic and my 5th anniversary and I can't think of a better way to celebrate than to play music for God :)
Vic and I are also planning a road trip with some church friends at the end of August down to California - we'll be leaving on August 24th, hopefully arriving on the 25th and we'll start heading back home on August 31st, getting back September 1st. It's our friend Shaun's first time in California and he loves thrill rides, so we are hoping to go to Disneyland, 6 Flags and they'll also make a stop at Universal Studios. We didn't enjoy Universal the last time we were there so we decided we would skip that and see if any of the family can hang out while Shaun and his GF, Vanessa, are there.
I've also signed back up with Zumba for July and August; I've missed some last week because I got strep throat, but I'm excited to get back into the swing of things again. I did Zumba for a year two years ago and didn't have the time last year to do anything, but when I found out my favourite instructor was holding classes in Cloverdale, I signed up pretty much right away.
I've also caught back up with my photo challenge - go check it out! :)
Ok, that's it for me!
Happy birthday Vic! I am so blessed to walk with you through life's hills and valleys. I couldn't imagine doing it with anyone else and having as much fun along the way.
Pic taken on our impromptu drive to Seattle's pier for lunch yesterday. <3

Loved by the Savior. Blessed with a wonderful husband, a beautiful daughter and an adorable pup.
I love photography, singing, reading, trying new food, organizing, all things Disney and always looking forward to my next adventure. You can usually find me with a book in my hand or talking about Pentatonix. An unfortunate Amazon.com addict :)
Oh yeah, occasionally, Vic will post too. :)
