2Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.3And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. 4Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. 5Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. 6Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.
- Colossians 4:2-6
It's been a crazy few weeks at work and God's heavy at work with me to try to show and share God's love with certain people at work (who drive me crazy). One of the verses we went through at church today was about forgiveness and to pay attention to ourselves and what I am showing others through my actions - impatience and frustration - but instead, I want to show them God's overflowing love and grace. A good verse to keep in my pocket.
So the Da Roza household is now a school-zone! Vic started school last week after 3.5 months of crazy back-and-forth with his school but it all finally got sorted out and he's now a part-time student at Argosy University trying to major in Psychology (specializing in Organizational Psych). I'm super proud of him - it was his decision to go and with his company paying 100% of it (we basically pay the taxes), how could he not? :) Praise God for opening up this opportunity for him!
My class this term is starting to die down - I have another 2 weeks and then a week break and if I can register for the next one, it will start May 7th. I'm doing my specialization in Business Analysis and it's been pretty interesting so far.
Other than that, things are busy at work for Vic and I - plus we're starting to get a little more involved at church now that we are getting to know the 'young adults' so it's not as awkward staying after church.
Anyway, I'm going to try and blog a bit more than once every other week but I'll leave you with a few tidbits from the last few weekends.
We took Ewan to Maplewood Farms - we had never been there before and we thought he would like it too! After lunch, we took him to the hockey shop and let him play with some of the sticks. I think he had a good time - and I know we tired him out!
Last weekend, I went to the Friends of the Library Book Sale (they have two big sales a year) and it was one of the busiest I have ever seen! I got some smokin' hot deals on some really awesome books. I'm looking forward to reading them in the summer! I even had a chance to volunteer at the sale for a bit because they were so busy and a little short on volunteers :) Good times.
My friend, Dimpel, had her boyfriend in from San Francisco visiting so a bunch of us went out for dinner at a Caribbean restaurant that Vic and I had never been to (Calabash Bistro) - neither of us had ever had Caribbean food. Food was so yummy that I went home looking at vacations in the Caribbean. :)
Here I am sitting on the couch on my bachelorette night in (Vic's at poker tonight) - I should be doing homework for Monday but here I am instead, looking at dubsteb dancing on YouTube. There's no rescuing me now :)
Came across this video and while the dancing is a little messy, the concept is just so cool! Enjoy!
Long overdue pics from our visit to the Mulhollands.
It was a great, sunny long weekend for the Easter break - Vic and I had a busy time with the family but we had a chance to take Chloe for a walk at a park in Fort Langley called Derby Reach. Fort Langley has started to get really trendy in the last few years and it was a beautiful drive. Here are some pics from our walk :)

Loved by the Savior. Blessed with a wonderful husband, a beautiful daughter and an adorable pup.
I love photography, singing, reading, trying new food, organizing, all things Disney and always looking forward to my next adventure. You can usually find me with a book in my hand or talking about Pentatonix. An unfortunate Amazon.com addict :)
Oh yeah, occasionally, Vic will post too. :)
