After the 3 hour meeting, we thought we'd let off some steam by indulging in some retail therapy - we got a coupon for BR outlet for additional discount to the already marked down clothes so we felt good picking up some new work clothes. I got two dresses for $50! Whoo :)
We had church today so had practice in the morning and rushed out of church right away to pick up the lechon (roasted pig) for May's baptism that Faye got, then picked up Mikey, dropped off the food at the reception hall, dropped by Vic's parent's place before heading to the church.
It was a pretty quick service, considering there was another baby getting baptized; I think we were in and out in about an hour (the shortest Catholic mass I've ever been to). We all trekked to Michelle's uncle's place as they were holding the reception there. It was a huge place! There was even a theatre room that seated 12. We brought some DVDs to entertain the kids and it turned out ok - we were able to get some family pics as well. I was really sad to see that the pictures turned out so fuzzy; I hate taking pictures indoors because I can never get the settings down right. :( But it was awesome to get together. Vic's uncle Robert flew in from Edmonton and Vic's oldest brother, Mikey, flew in from Calgary as well. All in all, a good way to spend some time with family.
May was really good through the whole thing! No crying, she got passed around and she wasn't fussy or anything. A superstar princess :)
